Ever wanted an action figure with so many articulation points that it made all other action figures crawl back into their cardstock container?
Say it with Poser! Talamasca Obsessive Dream. The Poser Alphabet is the first human figure alphabet designed entirely in three dimensions.
This design continues a tradition begun by the scribes and illuminators in the middle ages of forming people into letters to decorate manuscripts and scriptures. Each pose set forms a letter when viewed from front and center. When seen from other angles the set of figures appear as fluid acrobatic or dance-like configurations.
All poses are meticulously crafted, entirely in the round. Each set snaps into place. The Poser 8 set, for Ryan and Alyson, consists of the entire Roman alphabet in 26 capital letters, 10 Arabic numerals, 5 punctuation marks, and 24 alternate letters for frequently used characters, 65 in all.
There is a total of 242 poses divided into the above 4 categories. Included is a PDF tutorial explaining two methods of word and name composition. Also available in my store is the Poser 6 Figure Alphabet for the James and Jessi G2 characters.
Ready-made letters are offered in my store as PNG files. There is a set of bronzed alpha-characters and one of Ryan and Alyson in gym clothes, ready for web or print usage.

Posing figures is surprisingly easy; you just grab a body part and move it into position. All attached body parts will move along with the selected part in the same way they move in real life, unlike when you’re on the dance floor. In other words, if you raise the upper arm of a model, the lower arm, wrist, and hand will move with it. Once you have loaded a figure in the Document Window, you can select and move it into position within the scene before starting to pose the figure. Moving a figure moves the entire figure as one unit and lets you separate multiple figures within a single scene. Several commands are available for working with figures, including changing its height, locking a figure in place, and hiding a figure to speed the update within the Document Window.
