Normally there is a multitude of cab files within the installer(exe file! Irfan Ul Quran Software. ). The correct one for the PDA CPU can be extracted and copied straight to the PDA. This is very useful if you want to have the cab as a backup on the PDA. Thats all most of the PC installers do. They load garbage on your PC and then copy the cab fle to autorun from the PDA.

Safe to remove the debris from the PC of course. Its just inane stuff. Just had a look at the Adobe Reader PPC folder on my Vista install and it contains quite a few DLL files and application config files - some of which have been copied over to the PPC. The Read Me file explains nothing, so I'll remove it and see how it goes. Can always reinstall it if need be.
