Flash Text Files Resolume 5 Mov. I called Bogen this morning and I was told that the M1 version would work with the 300D but some features (don't know which ones) would be missing. I was also told that the adapter could be sent in and upgraded to the M2 version. I was transfered to service to find out the price, but no one answered the phone. Alas, the flash that I was looking at has been sold, so this whole thing has become moot. I get your point, but why did 1/1000 s not freeze the water drop then? It only got sharp when I increased shutter speed to 1/4000 s.

If the article is correct the flash output should have been short in any case and it shouldn't have a difference. Apart from that it sounds reasonable what the article says. But it didn't happen for me. Perhaps I should have put the flash in manual mode with a forced low output, causing a cut-off earlier with a resulting shorter duration. Still takes a bit of experimenting. Regards, Roger.
