16 March, 2012 - KillerMapper 0 Comments Hello guys, sorry for being without news all this time! I'm sure most of you are waiting for news, so here is a little summary of the mod. Currently, the most part of the team is overbooked IRL. That means they can't work on the mod.
OneEyed, especially, can't code anymore on the project (he can only give some hints to other coders). On another side, coding karts under Source Engine is more complicated than excepted. It takes lot of time to get something working, and since coders don't have time, you now what this mean.
'So, the mod is dead?:(' Not really. It's more in stand by than dead. I'm myself really busy (moved in a new house, no internet connexion (except neighbor's wifi, slow as hell) and exams are comming next months, but I'm planning to study possibilites for the future of the mod (continue? Change game engine? Nothing is decided yet. But like everybody, I hope that MKS will be released!
Oh, for who are looking for a kart game on Unreal Engine, here is Blazing Gears Kart Racing currently in progress! It will be a very complete racing game on Steam, it looks promising and they need help, like us:) (let's help each other!).
